APPLICATIONS

Refer to table 4 to select the active and passive transmitters to be used for system installation according to
the distance between source and user.
Application
Important note:
•
Table 4 shows the approximate distances for choosing the devices to be used in combination with the
Ref. 1092/316 product according to distance. This parameter may vary according to the quantity of
wire used for system installation.
•
The distances shown in the table refer to the use of colour cameras. Higher distances may be
obtained for longer distances.
•
The distances may vary according to the wire quality also when the latter is made by the same
manufacturer as the devices.
•
For distances close to or higher than 1200 metres, use of an Urmet Domus Ref.1092/302 active
transmitter (instead of Ref.1092/300 passive transmitter) is recommended.
•
URMET Domus S.p.A. recommended the use of a 22 AWG UTP CAT6 cable or higher for distances
close to or higher than 2100 metres.
