10Open the gas supply and make sure that no leaks are present.
In case of leakage, switch off the gas supply. Eliminate the leak.
11 Check to ensure that the red control diode (6) goes out after the gas supply
is opened.

To ensure optimal operation of the EWR, the EWR should be positioned with
the hose outlets pointing vertically downwards.

To switch the EWR on or off, press the ON/OFF button (9) for at least
5 seconds.
The EWR gas monitoring system adjusts the gas supply according to
a characteristic curve adjusted in accordance with the welding process.
NOTICE
• With the factory setting, only the orange LED will be lit on the flow rate
indicator.
Example: EWR MIG/MAG
If using a 300 ampere shunt, the EWR controls the flow rate between 14 l/min
up to a 90 A welding current and 21 l/min as of 300 A.

1 To increase the gas flow rate, press the + arrow button (4).
2 Any key press will increase the gas flow rate by 1 l/min.
3 The increase is indicated by one or more green LEDs lighting up above the
orange LED (2).
4 To save the set value, wait for 5 seconds, before interrupting the power
supply or making further settings.
