• Never touch the device, the mains cord and the mains plug with
wet hands when these components are connected to the mains
supply.
• Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket
– if you are not using the device,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a storm,
– before you clean and/or stow the device.
• If you wish to remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull
on the cable, but always on the plug.
• Only use the device in enclosed areas.
• Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl ammable dust
or toxic and explosive vapours.
• For your own safety, always check the device for damages prior
to using it. Only use the device if the device, adapter, mains cord
and the plug do not exhibit any damages!
• Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on or
plugged in to the mains supply. Pull the mains plug in case of
longer breaks.
• Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not re-
place the mains cord yourself. Only have the device, cord and
plug repaired by a qualifi ed workshop. Contact customer service
if necessary. Improper repairs could pose serious risks for the
user.
• If the device is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In
the event of damage, contact the customer service department.
Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
• Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
hazard. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table
or kitchen worktop. Someone could catch him / herself and pull
down the device.
• Do not use any additional accessories. Only use the enclosed
accessories from the manufacturer.
• Fruits may only be chopped if the pit / seeds have been removed!
