Operation of Knee Control Unit: K203
Turn the control unit "on" with the on/off switch. The "green" pilot lamp lights up. Select the desired max. speed with the
speed-selector lever by turning it clockwise. The selected speed is being shown at the LED reading. The rate of
revolutions will be continuously variable to the set speed. The handpiece comes to a stop by releasing the knee lever.
By using the reversal of rotation switch
Operation of Table Top Control Unit: T203
Turn the control unit "on" with the on/off switch. The "green" pilot lamp lights up. Select the desired max. speed with the
speed-selector lever by turning it clockwise. By operating the treadle switch, the selected speed will be reached, which
will be shown at the LED reading. In order to operate the unit without the treadle switch, the treadle switch just needs to
be unplugged. The unit operates at the set max. speed. By using the reversal of rotation switch
course of the handpiece will change (lamp lights up).
Do not clean handpiece with pressure air, also, the use of oil is prohibited!

Check the chuck at least once a month and clean it.
Motor Overload Protection
In case of an overload, the built-in electronics will shut itself and the motor off. The unit will be ready for further use.
Storage of the Product
The storage of the product needs to be guaranteed (normal room temperature and normal humidity). Keep the
packaging for storage/transportation purposes.
Electromagnetic compatibility of product is given, tested after EMV.
MAINTENANCE OF THE CHUCK
1 Removal of Small Cap:
Remove the small cap MU 1444 out of the grip sleeve.
Removal of the Bur:

Turn the motor grip sleeve in direction of arrow in order to open the
handpiece and remove the bur.
Never open handpiece while in use.
Loosening of Chuck:

Lock the motor shaft with any bur, and unscrew the chuck with chuck key
MU 0222 (direction of arrow).
4 Remove the Chuck:
Remove the chuck out of the shaft, check it, clean it or replace it.
Damaged and fooled chucks reduce the tension and the exact truth of
rotation.
Risk of Accident!
If you work with a defective chuck a risk of accident could be possible.
