ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION

ASSEMBLY PREPARATION

Give yourself sufficient time for assembling the grill. Set up a flat working surface
with sufficient space. Remove the device from the packaging. Remove the pre-as-
sembled grill grid and take out the charcoal container.
Risk to children. Risk of death from suffocation/swallowing. Keep the packaging
away from children. Dispose of it immediately. Keep small parts out of their reach.
The charcoal container may contain a thin oil film on the metal, due to its produc-
tion process. This oil can cause smoke only in the first use. Therefore the barbecue
shall be heated up and the fuel kept red hot for at least 30 minutes prior to the first
cooking.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the battery compartment
at the bottom of the device base.
Insert four AA batteries (not inclu-
ded). Pay attention to the polarity.
Close the battery compartment.
2. Place the device base on a flat stab-
le surface and insert the inner bowl.
3. Fill the charcoal container with 250
g charcoal. Every kind of charco-
al suits. For best results charcoal
briquettes are not recommended.
4. Fill up the ignition plate with about
20 ml of lighter gel. Place the
ignition plate into the inner bowl.
Warning: Do not insert the gel in
the ventilation fans. This leads to
20
irreparable damage to the device.
5. Set the fan at maximum regulating
the control knob clockwise until it
stops.
6. Light the gel until it burns.
7. Place the charcoal container on the
burning gel. Warning: Do not touch
the flame!
8. Before using the grill oil the grill
grids. Put the grill grid on top of
the inner bowl. Make sure to insert
the two metal legs into the slots of
the inner bowl. Both metal loops at
the side of the grill grid have to be
aligned with the latches.
