1. General instructions

• T he radio chimes are only designed for use with the corresponding
batteries.
• T his set of radio chimes consists of a transmitter and a receiver.
Other transmitters (art. no. 0504444555, white) can be used
with this set.
• T he chimes offer you the possibility of building up a door bell sy-
stem without any wiring. It can also be used as supplement to an
existing door bell system.
• B ecause of the flashlight, the radio chimes are also ideal for use
in loud environments. The appearance of the receiver can be ad-
apted to suit own requirements using the three enclosed, coloured
flashlight covers (transparent, blue and orange).
• W ith the paging function, the radio chimes set is also ideal for
use as neighbourhood call or emergency call for people who are
immobile.

3. Battery operation

Remove the cover from the battery compartments 1 + 2 and insert
the specified batteries – pay attention to correct polarity (+/-).
Safety instructions for batteries
• I nserting the batteries the wrong way round (incorrect +/-
polarity) can damage/destroy the appliance
• D o not store batteries within the reach of children. This applies in
particular to batteries that could be swallowed
• S eek immediate medical help for affected person in the event of a
battery being swallowed
• D o not attempt to revive batteries by heating up or similar mea-
sures. Primary batteries may not be recharged as this can result in
electrolyte leakage, fire and explosions
