11. Troubleshooting

Radio transmission is on a non-exclusive channel which is why it is not
possible to exclude errors completely.
No function
• C heck the coding of the transmitter and receiver – they must be
the same.
• C heck the batteries; they may be flat or inserted incorrectly.
Only functioning at short range
• C heck the batteries; they may be flat or getting low.
Incorrect function
• I ncorrect activation may occur as a result of overloads of radio
channels in built-up areas. If this occurs, please change the coding
– e.g. from 1 to 3.

12. Cleaning

Only use a slightly damp cloth, possibly with a mild detergent, to
clean the surface. Do not use any detergents containing scouring
agents or solvents.

13. Guarantee

During manufacturing this REV product is passed through several
quality testing stations which are set up with newest technology.
Should nevertheless a defect arise, REV offers a warranty to the fol-
lowing extent:
1. The duration of the warranty is 24 months after the date of
purchase.

2. The unit is either repaired or replaced by REV free of charge or
if it can be shown that it has become unusable during the
warranty period due to a manufacturing or material defect.
3. The liability does not cover transport damages or damaged
incurred through defective installation.
4. If REV repudiates the warranty claim and no objection is made
within 6 months, the right to repair becomes time-barred.
5. In a warranty case the unit must be sent to the dealer or REV
together with the sales slip and a short description of the defect.
6. If there is no proof for a warranty liability being in place, any
repair carried out will be invoiced.

14. Disposing of batteries

Dear customer,
Please note
carefully:
Batteries and accumulators
are not to be disposed of in
the normal house waste bin
Every user is legally obliged, to hand over
all batteries and accumulators, irrespective
of whether or not they contain harmful
substances *) to a communal collection
point in the local town area or to a trade
dealer so that they can be disposed of in an
orderly environmentally friendly manner.
Batteries and accumulators should only be
handed over when they are completely
discharged!
