OPERATING PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS

Waning
The Yämmi has an LCD display with customer support codes - AL XXXX - in safety warning situations or when in operation.
If a warning message appears permanently on the display, turn off the machine and turn it on again using the switch. If the
warning message persists, the machine could be damaged. In this case, contact Yämmi customer service and inform them
of the warning code.
Problem
The Yämmi does not turn on.
There is a burn mark from heating milk or
milk products, or when preparing recipes
with a high sugar content.
The Yämmi does not start operation or
displays AL 0256.
Failure in automatic locking/
unlocking of the Mixing Bowl
or Pan or displays AL 0512.
The Yämmi does not heat.
Fluid leak under the appliance.
The scale does not weigh or
displays AL 1024.
Warning – Risk of electric shock!
Regularly inspect your device and its accessories, including
the Mixing Bowl, to check for any damage because
damaged parts can compromise the safety of your
multifunction Yämmi food processor.

Possible cause
The switch l/0 is off.
It is in standby mode.
Absence of electric current.
Burn marks are common when
cooking with ingredients rich in
sugar or milk.
The mixing bowl or pan has been
positioned improperly or the lid
has been incorrectly closed.
The lid of the mixing bowl or
pan has not been correctly
fitted onto the mixing bowl
or pan.
Incorrect setting.
Incorrect positioning
of the blade or the sealing ring
of the blade is damaged.
Machine is not properly
mounted or the work
surface is unstable.
Total weight of ingredients
more than 6 kg.
Apply pressure to the bowl or pan
with the weighing function active.
Solution
Check that it is in position l. See section Switching On/Off in the
instruction manual.
Remove from standby mode. See section Switching On/Off in
the instruction manual.
Make sure that the power cable is properly plugged in.
1) Increase the speed to level 3 and reduce the cooking time.
2) Check the Cleaning and Care section of the instruction
manual.
Repeat the operation of fitting the mixing bowl or pan on the
machine base.
Make sure that the speed function is properly programmed or
consult the section entitled "Locking/Unlocking the Mixing Bowl
or Pan", in the instruction manual.
Check whether the marks indicated on the lid of the bowl or
pan are aligned with the corresponding marks on the handle of
the bowl or pan, or consult the section entitled "Fitting the lid of
the mixing bowl or pan".
The operation of locking or unlocking the mixing bowl or pan
should be repeated.
Make sure that the cooking time and temperature have been
properly preset.
Make sure that the blade is correctly installed. Check the
condition of the sealing ring of the blade. See Preparation
section of the instruction manual. If you must replace it,
contact Yämmi customer service.
Make sure not to touch the machine during weighing, that the
work surface is stable and that the base of the machine is clean.
Re-press the button on the weighing scale.
Some weight should be removed from the machine.
