Gateway status
Connection through GPRS gate-
way
When using a GPRS gateway,
please follow the procedure below
to connect REMOCON NET to in-
ternet.
1. Power on the gateway and press
the ON/OFF button. For few
minutes the gateway performs its
startup procedure, during which
all LEDs will fl ash a blue se-
quence. At its conclusion, the
WEB led remains off , while the
BUS remains on.

Gateway status
The three LEDs on the front cover of the gateway will allow you to receive a continuous feedback regarding the
status of the whole REMOCON NET platform. The following tables describe the meaning of each different col-
our that the three LEDs could show:
ADSL GATEWAY
WEB led

Steady green
Flashing green
Steady red
BUS led (BridgeNet)
OFF
Steady green
Steady red
ALL THREE LEDs TOGETHER

Flashing blue
Steady blue → Max signal strength
Flashing blue→ Medium strength
Flashing red→ Low strength
Steady red → No line
2. Note: we suggest to place the
gateway so that the Max intensity
of the GPRS signal is reached.
Moreover, it is possible to use the
external antenna kit, provided by
ELCO
3. Press and hold the start-up but-
ton until the WEB led starts to
flash a green light: the gateway is
now trying to automatically con-
nect to the ELCO server.

Gateway OFF or not powered

Bus BridgeNet error or cable not connected

Gateway startup procedure ongoing
If the procedure has been suc-
cessful, the WEB led will remain
green and the process is com-
plete.
Note:
In case of failure (WEB led red),
repeat the above procedure start-
ing from point 3.

Please begin the previously de-
scribed procedure once the gate-
way has been linked to the heat-
ing System
