1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
Keep this device away from rain and moisture.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects
or problems.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
3. Power Supply
• Open the battery compartment at the back and insert 2 x AA batteries respecting the polarity. Close the battery compartment.
• Use of alkaline batteries is recommended.
• Never use old and fresh batteries at the same time.
• Take out the batteries if the device is not used for a long time.
4. Setting
• Time Setting
o In normal time setting, press SET for 2 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
o Press SET to choose day / language → 12/24h → seconds → hour → minutes → year → month → date → normal time display in this order.
o Modify a blinking item with UP/°C/°F. Hold the button pressed to modify rapidly. Press SET to confirm.
o Day / language: Press UP/°C/°F to select one of the supported languages (E for English, D for German, F for French, I for Italian and S for Spanish).
o If no button is pressed for 60 seconds, the calendar will automatically return to the normal display mode.
o The day will automatically be modified when modifying the date.
• Alarm Setting
o In normal time setting, press MODE to enter the alarm mode. Hold SET pressed for 2 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode.
o Press SET to choose hour → minutes → alarm mode in this order.
o Modify a blinking item with UP/°C/°F. Hold the button pressed to modify rapidly. Press SET to confirm.
o In alarm mode, press UP/°C/°F to switch the alarm on or off (
• Snoozing an Alarm
o The alarm will sound for 1 minute at the programmed time.
o Press any button to stop the alarm. Press SNOOZE to use the snooze function. The snooze icon will appear.
5. Other Functions
• Temperature Unit
o In normal time setting, press UP/°C/°F to switch between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit.
• Manual RCC Reception
o In normal time setting, hold MANUAL for 2 seconds to activate the manual RCC reception.
o The RCC signal will automatically adjust time and date. Remember: your CDC2 will need up to 10 minutes to receive the signal according to the signal strength.
• Resetting Your WC8205
o Press RESET using a pointy object to reset all settings.
