OMG™ Connector – M
* If 2 eight-contact leads are used, the leads
show up as contacts 1-8 and 9-16 in the
Bionic Navigator software.
4. Place the OMG Connector in a secure location
on a flat surface so that patient movement will
not cause the connector to fall.
5. Making sure that the Precision ETS is OFF,
connect the Precision ETS to the two ports on
the OMG Connector.
CAUTION
Failure to turn off the ETS before
connecting the OMG Connector may result
in excess stimulation.
Programming the Precision™ ETS
1. Link the Precision Clinician Programmer
(CP) to the Precision ETS per the standard
procedure.
2. Use the Bionic Navigator Software to program
the ETS.
Disconnecting the OMG Connector
1. Turn OFF stimulation.
2. Disconnect the ETS from the OMG Connector.
3. Disconnect the proximal end(s) of the non-
Precision OR Cable Assembly(ies) from the
OMG Connector.
Cleaning the OMG Connector
If necessary, the OMG Connector can be cleaned
using a damp cloth or tissue. Do not use alcohol
or abrasive cleaners. Do not submerge the OMG
Connector in any fluids.
