controlling „master"-. Flash units of other pho-
tographers within the same working radius
will not trigger the SLAVE.
When in cordless Metz remote mode there is
no exposure verification on the SLAVE. Only the
indication on the controller (master) is relevant
for correct exposure confirmation!

Cordless controller flash operation

In the cordless controller flash mode, the flashlight of
the mecablitz telecontrols the triggering of one or
more SLAVES. The controlling master flash is inserted
in the camera's accessory shoe, or mounted on a
camera bracket, or is linked with the camera's synch
contact (X contact) with a synchronising cable (see
page 48: Synchronisation). When used as a „master",
the mecablitz 34 CS-2 digital only supports the
mecalux SLAVE function: the SLAVE function selector
of the mecablitz 34 CS-2 digital mounted on the
camera must be set to position 0.
