14. Connect the sensors to the engine harness,
using the harness supplied with the kit;
14.1 Locate the engine oil pressure switch (1), it is
usually located on the rear, port side of the
engine, just above the oil filter boss.
Remove the female terminal (2) of the engine
harness (3) from the blade on the switch.
14.2 Install the male terminal (4) from the kit harness
(6) in the female terminal (2) that came off the
switch.
14.3 Install the female terminal (5) from the kit
harness (6) on the blade of the switch (1).
14.4 Route the rest of the kit harness (6) behind the
port exhaust manifold/riser, the shorter of the two
leads (6.1) will mount to the switch on the port
riser.
NOTE !
The kit harness should be secured inside the
J-clamps that are already located on the engine.
If needed secure the harness with tie-straps (not
included).
14.5 The longer lead (6.2) on the kit harness must be
routed from the port to the starboard side of the
engine, make sure the lead is secure and will not
contact moving parts of the engine.
