KIT PURPOSE
This kit contains parts to add exhaust over-heat sensors to the audible alarm system of the engine. When
installed, if the temperature of the exhaust risers becomes too high, the audible alarm will sound to alert the
operator to the over-heat condition.
KIT 3862119
This kit is for use on V6 and V8 engines with
standard height exhaust risers and that are equiped
with audible alarm systems.

INSTALLATION
WARNING
To prevent sparks which may ignite gas fumes, disconnect all power sources before
beginning the installation.
WARNING
To prevent flooding the boat, this installation should not be done on boats/engines
that are in the water.

1. Drain the water from the exhaust manifolds by
removing the caps or plugs(1). Re-install the
caps or plugs after all water is drained.
