Functional description
Up to 128 VX radio comfort handles and/or defined EnOcean sensors in groups of eight can be
connected to the Wireless Unit. The radio communication operates optimally in line-of-sight, without
obstacles, for a maximum distance of 10 metres. Plan sufficient Wireless Units for your application.
In harsh environments subject to high interference, additional Wireless Units may be used at different
positions. This allows radio comfort handles / sensors to send their signal to multiple Wireless Units
and facilitates redundancy. Wireless Units can also be placed in several separate rooms/plots to
connect the existing radio handles and sensors. The Wireless Unit can be used only with a Rittal base
system. Observe the total number of possible sensors for each CAN bus.
Note:
The Wireless Unit cannot be used together with a CMC III PU Compact.
