5. Transport and Storage

Check unit for transport damage after delivery. In the event
of damage, contact the maintenance service (see → Chap-
ter 10.4).
Damage to refrigerant circuit.
Refrigerant can escape and cause an explosive gas/air
mix. Danger of fire.
► Do not subject the unit to temperatures higher
than a maximum of 70°C during storage and trans-
port.
► Ensure good ventilation.
► Observe specific safety and warning information
for units with combustible refrigerants
(see → Chapter 1.6.2.1).
► Contact the maintenance service
(see → Chapter 10.4).
Transport the units with materials handling equipment.
Danger of injury in the event of a collision.
► Observe the transport paths of materials hand-
ling equipment.
► Secure the goods being transported.
► Operation of the materials handling equipment
only by trained persons.
NOTICE
Material damage from transport and storage.
► Adjustable feet must not protrude over the edges of the
transport pallet.
► Only transport and store when in its usage position.
► If the unit was tilted anyway during transport, then wait
at least 2 hours before starting it up.
► Observe the centre of gravity of the unit for safe lifting
of the load with a forklift.
► Upon delivery, ensure continuous accessibility up to the
installation room. (passage heights/widths / observe
installation room height, sufficient room to manoeuvre).
► Do not store the unit outdoors.

6 Unpacking

Check the unit for damage (dents, scratches) before and
during unpacking. In the event of damage, contact the
maintenance service (see → Chapter 10.4).
Disposal of packaging material and film. Danger of
asphyxiation.
► Keep packaging material and film away from children.
► Do not allow children to play with it.
Damage to refrigerant circuit. Refrigerant can es-
cape and cause an explosive gas/air mix. Danger
of fire.
► Ensure good ventilation.
► Observe specific safety and warning informa-
tion for units with combustible refrigerants (see →
Chapter 1.6.2.1).
►Contact the maintenance service (see → Chap-
ter 10.4).

Sharp edges on the unit. Heavy parts of the unit.
Cuts on the hands. Hands may be trapped.
► Watch your fingers and hands when unpacking.
► Use protective gloves.
NOTICE
• Material and property damage from missing parts on
the unit.
► Check for loose parts in the packaging.
► Do not dispose of loose parts. If you don't know where
they belong, clarify this with the maintenance service
(see → Chapter10.4).

7. Setup and Installation

The operator can setup and install a unit.
Technical data for interfaces, see → Chapter 2.2.
Technical changes to the unit only in consultation and with
the approval of the manufacturer.
NOTICE
• Material and property damage from the trapped hot
exhaust air (heat accumulation).
► It must be possible for the exhaust air to escape at the
top of the unit unhindered.
► Superstructures or suspended ceilings directly at the
top edge of the unit may only be installed in consultati-
on with the manufacturer.
Danger of unit tipping. People may be trapped.
► If there are any questions, contact the mainten-
ance service (see → Chapter 10.4).
In the event of damage to the refrigerant circuit,
refrigerant can escape and cause an explosive gas/
air mix. Danger of fire. (See → 1.6.2.1)
► Do not seal ventilation openings in the housing
of the unit (such as the air intake grating on the
front of the unit, the top of the unit, interior of
the unit; honeycomb air ducts). If accessories
are to be installed, make sure that no ventilation
openings are sealed.
► The unit may only be setup in well-ventilated
rooms.
► Do not setup the unit in basement rooms or
other below-grade rooms.
► Sewers and wall breakthroughs under and be-
hind the unit must be sealed in accordance with
fire prevention regulations.
► Drilling into or other work on the unit is not
permitted.
► Do not crush or bend the pipework.
► Minimum space for setup room is 300m²
Walking on the surfaces of the unit.
Danger of cuts if the material breaks. Danger of
falling. Danger of possibly being hit by falling parts.
► Do not climb on or into the unit.
