1. Safety

1.1 General Information on the Instructions and Safety

The operating instructions (subsequently referred to as "Instructions") are part of the unit and make safe and
efficient operation possible. The section on safety provides information on important safety aspects for the protec-
tion of people, property and materials. Task-based warnings/references are contained in the individual chapters.
You can find Instructions in electronic form on our website at www.aht.at.
These Instructions are directed at the following target groups:
• Operators
• Operating personnel
• Specialists: AHT service partners, AHT service technicians, AHT customer service, AHT setup service,
AHT installation service
Personnel: This term is used if the Instructions are directed at all target groups.
These Instructions must be present on-site and accessible to personnel.
The personnel must read through these Instructions carefully before use.

1.1.1 Limitation of Liability

All the information in these Instructions has been compiled taking into consideration the standards and legal
regulations applicable at that time as well as empirical values from the manufacturer and specialists. The manu-
facturer assumes no liability for damage to persons or property (equipment, goods, etc.) resulting from:
• not observing the Instructions and the safety regulations contained in it
• not observing locally applicable legal safety regulations
• improper use
• use of unauthorised and untrained personnel
• unauthorised modifications and technical changes by the operator himself
• use of spare parts not certified by the manufacturer
• failure of the power supply or electrical safety equipment
• setting and printing mistakes.
Not observing the points given above will result in the loss of any guarantee claims.
The obligations agreed on in accordance with the contract, the general terms and conditions of sale and delivery
of „AHT Cooling Systems GmbH" (subsequently referred to as „AHT"), and moreover the legal regulations in force
at the time the contract was concluded apply.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make technical changes during the course of optimising the unit and
further development.
The local commercial and safety-based regulations/provisions and the underlying safety and health protection
requirements for the unit apply.

Explanation of Symbols

Safety and warning information in these Instructions are identified by symbols and signal words. Signal words
indicate the level of risk of the hazard.
