Important information

Read the following instructions carefully before installing the product.
• The fotovoltaic panel is not protected against explosions. Thus it may not be installed near of highly inflammable gases or and vapours.
• Be cautions during installation and do not damage the fotovoltaic panel.
• The product contains sharp metal parts which could cause injury to persons or damage to property if they are not used in accordance with
the instructions.
• Ensure your hands and eyes are protected before installing the product.
• Be sure to use appropriate devices and tools when carrying out the various installations steps described in this manual.
• When installing the panel, ensure that the tools used correspond to the statutory norms which apply to the specific area of application.
• Fotovoltaic panels may only be used in a temperate climate.
• The collector must be exposed to the sun for at least 24 hours before being used for the first time.
• Persons installing the fotovoltaic system on a height of min. 3 metres and more have to be secured against falls.
• Persons must be protected from falling objects by closing off the concerned area.
• Under no circumstances must the cables be shortened or the preassembled plugs changed.
• In order to avoid lightning strikes, installation of the product or maintenance/repair work must not be carried out during a storm.
• Inspect the installation before starting up, ensuring that the installation steps have been carried out correctly.
• Errors at the installation stage could create a fire hazard.
• When installing the product, only use the components and accessories provided.
• When connecting the auxiliary collector, only use the Out/Aux output of the main collector.
• Before connecting a further panel, ensure that the battery provided is charged.
• Do not connect any non-charged batteries to the AUX-BATTERY output.
• Keep the photovoltaic collectors clean to ensure sustained optimal performance.
• If you will not be using the system for a long period, remove the fuse from the rear side of the panel in order to prevent damage to the battery.
• If the system is not in use, the battery should be regularly charged in order to ensure that it is not damaged.
• Before disposing of the product, please contact the local authorities for instructions on how to proceed.
