General installation conditions CoxCentric

CoxCentric
®
flue gas outlet material is a system with CE marked
suitable for non-condensing and condensing fan-controlled
central heating boilers.
Respect the national gas instructions (for the Netherlands NPR
3378, NEN 2757) and the installation instructions
CoxCentric
®
The CoxCentric
system is suitable for operation in the open air.
®
The maximum freestanding height above the last support
is 1,0m. (wind load) When the freestanding length is larger, flue
liner has to be stabilized.
The maximum distance between the outer surface of the flue liner
and the wall is 50mm. (subjected to bracket strength)
At a vertical installation the maximum unfixed length is 50,0m.
At a non-vertical installation the length is endless,
but the maximum bracket distance is 1,0m in this case.
Install horizontal pipe sections with a fall of 50mm to
the boiler.
Don't store the CoxCentric
environment.
There are no dangerous substances used in the
CoxCentric
system.
®
The minimum distance from the outer surface of the
CoxCentric
flue liner to the wall is 0mm, over the total length of
®
the flue liner. (see figure 4)
When the CoxCentric
system will be connected to an existing
®
chimney, or a flue liner out of a different material, for example
plastic or stainless steel, a condensate drain has to be installed,
to avoid the leakage of condensate from this other flue liner into
the CoxCentric
system.
®
When mounting on the wall/ceiling, only use the Cox Geelen
bracket (see catalog). Components from different systems must
not be mixed.
When using a telescopic pipe for inspection purposes, the
insertion end may be mounted over a length of 50mm. This will
make an inspection opening available above the appliance
connection stub after complete displacement (see figure 3).
Installation of the CoxCentric
The installation of the separate sections comes together by
pushing the spigot of the section (see open arrow figure 5) into
the socket of the previous section.
Don't install the system upside down. This can cause
leakage of condensate.
Making a specific length: when a pipe section is too long,
it's possible to shorten this (e.g. with a handsaw).
For this occasion the lower spring has to be removed.
Making a specific length: when a pipe section is too short,
it can be extended by use of an adjustable pipe.
Remove burrs at the pipe ends.
Installation: before putting the sections together, the push in
spigot and the seals have to be smeared with soapsuds or
special sour free Vaseline (only obtainable at Cox Geelen), so that
a smooth installation becomes possible.
