Fitting the guide brushing(Fig.8)
Fig.8
1.
Turn the cutting guide around
so that the facing surface of
the cutting guide faces
upward.
2.
Slide the pivot on to the hole
of the cutting guide and fix it
in place by tightening the
wing nut.
3.
The radius of the arc produced
is determined by adjusting the
distance between the pivot's
point and the router bit fitted
to the machine. Adjust this
distance by sliding the bar in
the router base and tighten
the locking bolt
1.
The guide bushing enables
template and pattern routing
on work-pieces.
2.
Undo the two screws on the
bottom and fix the guide
bushing to the bottom of the
base plate with the two
screws.
3.
Lay the router with the guide
bushing against the template.
4.
Switch on the router. Loosen
the clamping lever and slowly
lower the router to the
workpiece until the desired
depth-of-cut is reached.
Tighten clamping lever.
5.
Lead the router with
projecting guide bushing
along the template, using light
sideways pressure.
Note: Choose a router bit with a smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the
guide bushing. It is not possible to use blades with a diameter of more than 15mm
with this guide bushing.
Note: the template must have a minimum thickness of 6mm, due to the projecting
height of the guide bushing.

On/off switch (Fig.9)
To start the machine, first press the lock-off button
Fig.9
and then the On/Off switch and keep it pressed.
3. Operation for working
NOTE: The tool is equipped with an anti-vibration back handle for additional
comfort, easy control and to reduce user fatigue.
a. Using the router
1.
Make sure that the material to be cut is securely clamped and provides
sufficient stability to support the router while it is operating.
2.
To control the router, keep both hands on the handles.
3.
Rotate the router in a counter-clockwise direction when cutting outside
edges. Rotate it in a clockwise direction when cutting inside edges.
4.
After setting the cutting depth as described, position the router so that the
bit is directly above the point you plan to cut. With the router running, lower
the unit smoothly into the work-piece. (DO NOT FORCE THE ROUTER DOWN.)
When the tool reaches its pre-set depth, tighten the clamping lever. Once
you have finished routing, loosen the clamping lever and allow the spring to
lift the router directly off the workpiece.
NOTE: Always feed the work-piece to the router against the direction of the bit's
rotation.
b. Direction of feed
The feed motion of the router must always be against the rotation direction of the
router bit (up-grinding). When milling in the direction with the rotation of the
router bit (down-cutting), the router may break loose and so reduce the user's
control.
