3. Remove the hygienic exhaust filter by pulling the tab provided for this
purpose (Fig. 12/B).
4. If you discover that the hygienic exhaust filter is dirty, brush off the dirt
with a soft, dry brush, such as the furniture brush supplied.
5. If such dry cleaning is insufficient, rinse the filter by hand in running cold
or hand-warm water.
ATTENTION:
The filters are washable, but not suitable for cleaning in washing
machines or dishwashers. Do not use cleaning agents for cleaning.
Leave the filters to dry after cleaning them with water (approx. 24 hours
at room temperature). Only put them back into the appliance when they
are completely dry.
6. If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it (ordering information
ZChapter 5.4, "Spare parts and accessories").
7. Put the new / cleaned and completely dry exhaust filter back into its re-
ceptacle (Fig. 12/B).
8. Attach the exhaust filter cover at the backside first (Fig. 13/A).
9. Then push down the exhaust filter cover until you feel and hear it snap
into place. It might be easier if, while doing so, you move the lock slight-
ly to the side (Fig. 13/B).
