COOKING ON THE COOKING PLATE
Caution! Never cover the grill surface with aluminium foil, baking paper or
other materials. Do not use aluminium grilling trays. Fire can occur due to
the heat accumulation.

Insert the angled side of the removal wrench into one of the openings on the
grill plate (see illustration) and pull the plate upward and off of the appli-
ance.
4.
Remove the grease collecting channel from the appliance.
5.
Plug the power cord of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V~).
6.
A signal tone will sound and indicator light will be flashing red.
7.
Use the temperature regulator to set the lowest temperature. As soon as the
appliance is switched on the, in addition you will hear the interior fan.
8.
Then select the desired temperature for your food. The temperature control-
ler has seven temperature settings (see section, Temperature control).
9.
Set the desired pot or pan on the heating plate and proceed to cook your
food as you would with a conventional oven.
10. When your food is prepared, turn the regulator to „OFF" and unplug the plug
from the electrical outlet. The device is not completely switched off until it
is unplugged.
11. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning it.
CAUTION:
The appliance is very hot during and after operation!

1. If you lift the cold grill plate off of
the appliance with the provided removal
wrench, you have the possibility of cook-
ing directly on the heating plate. This
is possible with standard pots and pans
(except induction pots and pans) with a
diameter of approx. 25 cm.
2. Place the appliance on a heat-resistant
surface.
