With the enclosed USB cable, you can use the transmitter on your PC like a standard joystick to con-
trol driving simulation programs.
With such a driving simulation program, you can gain initial experience while going easy on the
equipment as well as optimise your driving style.
>
Switch on your computer (Windows XP recommended) and wait until the system boots.
>
Make sure that the batteries/rechargeable batteries are fully charged!
>
Switch on the transmitter.
>
Connect the DSC connection of the enclosed cable to the transmitter and the other end to an
available USB port on your computer (USB1.1 or USB2.0).
>
The PC automatically detects the transmitter as a control element (Human Interface Device), the
remote control now works like a standard joystick.
>
You can download a free demo version of a sample simulation program on the Internet on the
homepage of Virtual RC Racing (http://www.virtualrc.com).

AintEnAnCE And CARE

Clean the remote control only with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents
or chemical solutions, as they might damage the surface of the housing.
Never immerse the system in water.
Dust can also be removed easily with a soft, clean brush.

General information
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return all used batteries
and rechargeable batteries; used batteries should not be disposed of in the household
refuse!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing pollutants are marked with the following
symbols indicating that they must not be disposed of in the household refuse.
The labels for hazardous heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (name is
on the battery/ rechargeable battery, e.g. under the trash icons on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collection point
in your local community or at any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are
sold.
This way, you comply with legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
