ADEUNIS RF HCA - USER GUIDE - V1.2

4.6. Associating HCA UNITY1 to radiator type

Adeunis RF HCA UNITY1 being exclusively a "unity scale" metering device, it must be associated with a radiator type to allow the backend
station receiving Wmbus telegrams, to properly convert the unity scale into value scale.
This process start at device installation, by collecting the removable Q/R sticker on the housing (see next picture) and placing it on a special
document already pre-filled with radiator type and HCA UNITY1 location in the building it is installed. Later on, the specialist will create a file
linking every HCA UNITY1 Serial Number to the type of radiator it is mounted on. Note that, for any reason, if the Q/R sticker is lost it is always
possible to read the HCA UNITY1 Serial Number printed as a 8 digit number located on the right bottom corner of the device housing (see next
picture).

4.7. KC value management

As mentioned in "Associating HCA UNITY1 to radiator type " chapter, the Adeunis RF HCA UNITY1 cannot convert the readout value in a
billable consumption value. This data is calculated in the backend station using a KC value depending on each radiator types. A list of these KC
value is available on demand.
However, using the following formula, it is possible to convert the display value (unity scale) into a value scale representing an approximate of
the reel consumption value (value scale) calculated in the back end station.
Consumption value = Displayed value x KQ x KC
With KC = 1.1
With KQ = Radiator power in KW / 1KW
Example : Assuming your 1.2KW radiator is displaying a 2200 value on HCA UNITY1, you can estimate your reel consumption at : 2200 x 1.2
x 1.1 = 2904 KW.
