Safety instructions

These operating instructions and
the operating instructions
"Explosion-protected plugs
and sockets"
(GHG 510 7001 P0001) are to be read
through carefully before putting the
apparatus into service.
The instructions shall be observed and the
text shall be kept at hand.
Before opening the enclosure, ensure that
the power supply has been isolated (pull
out mains plug).
Before each use, it is necessary to check
the socket distribution outside the
hazardous area to ensure that it functions
correctly and that there is no rnechanical
damage.
The portable socket distribution is not
suited for use in Zone 0.
In order to guarantee the explosion
protection, it is necessary to ensure that
the portable distribution cannot fall.from a
height of more than 1m during operation (if
necessary, the socket distribution shall be
safeguarded against falling down).
Faulty or defective apparatus shall be
removed from the hazardous area
immediately.

The temperature class and type of
protection stated on the apparatus shall be
observed.
Modifications or changes to the design of
the socket distributions are not permitted.
They shall be used for their intended
purpose and shall be in a perfect and
clean state.
OnIy original CEAG parts may be used as
replacements and for repairs.
Repairs that affect the explosion protection
may onIy be carried out by CEAG or by a
qualified electrician in compliance with the
respective national regulations.
Prior to being put into operation, the
socket distributions shall be checked in
accordance with the instructions as per
section 6.
The socket distributions may only be used
in conjunction with associated, undamaged
CEAG plugs.
Before initial operation, any foreign matter
shall be removed from the apparatus.
The national safety rules and regulations
for the prevention of accidents, as well as
the safety instructions included in these
operating instructions, that, like this text,
are set in italics, shall be observed!
