Safety instructions
•
Please carefully read this user manual and, in
particular, the safety instructions before mounting
the adapter for the Makki.
•
The adapter is only suitable for use in the box of
the Makki cargo bikes of Royal Dutch Gazelle NV
•
The riding and steering behaviour can be
influenced when using the child seat on the
adaptor. For your safety and that of your child,
moderate your speed and avoid bumps and
obstacles on the road.
•
Carefully read the safety and user instructions in
the Makki user manual.
•
It is forbidden to make any modifications to the
adapter. If modifications have been made the
functionality cannot be guaranteed, thereby
rendering the warranty null and void.
•
Ensure that the adapter is not overloaded. This
can lead to unsafe situations and/or damage. The
adapter can withstand loads of up to 18 kg.
•
The adapter is suitable for most common child
seats. A Gazelle service specialist can advise you
on the purchase.

Suitable child seats
The adapter is only suitable for the most common
child seats that can be mounted on a handlebar.

Assembly
Mounting the adapter is done as follows:

Position the adapter frame

as indicated in the diagram.

Attach the adapter frame
points in the box; secure each point with a socket

and a spacer ring

Screw the bolts tight using Allen key 5.
Mounting child seat on the adapter:

Place the child seat on

in accordance with
the instructions in the
supplied user manual.
Ensure that the child seat is
mounted at least 5 mm below
the end of the tube.
