This device can be used by children 8 years of age and older and by individuals with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or those with
insufficient experience and knowledge to do so, if they are being supervised or have been trained on the safe use of the device and understand the
underlying hazards. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children without supervision.

the clipping head. Keep the device out of the reach of children.

• lay the connecting cable in such a way so that no one can trip over or step on it
• protect the connecting cable from damage. Never pull on the connecting cable. Always remove the cable from the power outlet by grasping the
power pack plug. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces. Check the connecting cable for damage on a regular basis.
• never expose the device to temperatures under 0 °C or over +40 °C for long periods of time. Avoid direct sunlight.
• repairs may only be performed by authorised personnel in order to avoid a hazard
• disconnect the device from the power supply for maintenance and parts replacement
• the clipping head may not be taken apart

1.5 Safety during operation

Never touch or reach into the clipping head when the device is switched on.
DANGER
The clipping head must be cleaned on a regular basis and oiled at the corresponding locations to ensure problem-free operation.
The device must be switched off when:
• you put the device down, e.g. to charge it or when you interrupt the cutting process for a brief period
• you attach or remove the comb attachment
• you clean or oil the device
Only use the clipper together with original accessories (charging tray, comb attachment, etc.).
Never use sharp objects (e.g. a tail comb) to remove dust or foreign objects from the interior of the device.
2. Charging
• when the device is delivered, it is not yet ready for operation
• before connecting the clipper to an outlet, make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage listed on the nameplate of the power pack
• in order to maintain the charge capacity of the battery, we recommend that you occasionally discharge the battery by operating the device
until the motor stops
• please charge the device for a full 8 hours before first use so that the included rechargeable battery is activated
• please do not charge the device in temperatures under 0 °C or higher than 40 °C
• please do not charge the device while exposed to direct sunlight or the heat of a radiator
• the standard charge time is 60 minutes. Avoid extended charge times to prevent damage to the battery.
• when the device is fully charged, it can be used for longer than 60 minutes. A red indicator light is on during charging.
• move the switch to ON to use the device
