Safety notes

This device may be used by children ages 8 and

over as well as persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities or those lacking
experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely
use the device and have understood the risks
associated with operating the device.
Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
■
performed by unsupervised children.
When switching on the iron and while it cools
■
down, the iron and its cable must be kept out of
the reach of children under 8 years of age.
The iron must not be left unattended when con-
■
nected to the mains.
The mains plug must be pulled out of the socket
■
before the water tank is fi lled with water.
The water tank cap must not be opened during
■
use.
The iron must be used and set down on a stable
■
surface.
The iron must not be used if it has fallen down,
■
exhibits visible damage or is leaky.
If one of the cables of the device is damaged, it
■
must be replaced by the manufacturer or cus-
tomer service or by a similarly qualifi ed person
to avoid any risks.
