INSTALLING SPECIAL BOLT
14" (350,0 mm) AND UP STYLE 995 COUPLING

The bolting assembly consists of
a T-bolt, rocker washer and nut.

T-bolt into the coupling. Be sure
that each T-bolt head is rest-
ing within the mating recess
in the coupling housing.
2. Install a rocker washer over
the end of one T-bolt with the
curved surface facing the cou-
pling housing bolt pad.
Piping systems must always be depressurized and drained before attempting disassembly and removal of any Victaulic
piping products.
Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury, property damage, joint leakage or joint separation.

procedure for

the T-bolt and tighten until the
rocker washer contacts the cou-
pling housing. Make sure the
curved surface of the rocker
washer is resting within the
mating recess in the cou-
pling housing.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for the
remaining T-bolts.
5. Tighten the nuts uniformly,
alternating sides
Alternate tightening for unifor-
mity is essential to prevent gas-
ket pinching.
6. Tighten nuts alternately until
the coupling bolt pads meet
metal-to-metal.
