Router Safety Warnings
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,
because the cutter may contact its own cord.
Cutting a "live" wire may make exposed metal
parts of the power tool "live" and shock the
operator.
Use clamps, or other practical ways to secure
and support the workpiece to a stable platform.
Holding the work with your hand or against the
body leaves it unstable and may lead to loss of
control. It is recommended to use a spoil board
underneath your material when doing a through
cut.
Adhere workpiece elements that may come
loose during cutting. When cutting items out of
workpiece materials, use PSA (Pressure Sensi-
tive Adhesive) or alternative methods to hold
elements down to your workbench and/or spoil
board. This will prevent items from coming loose
when cutting is complete.
Only use router bits with the correct shank size
for the SM1 Spindle and spindle collet supplied
with Origin. MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE CUTTER
DIAMETER IS 1" (25.4mm).
Check work area for items added after initial
scan. Origin's on-screen images are reconstruc-
tions based on previous scans. They may not
show items on your workpiece that were placed
there after a scan. Always check your work
area for potential obstacles immediately before
routing.
