Using ShaperTape

Using ShaperTape™
Origin uses ShaperTape to define your workpiece.
When you're ready to cut with Origin, lay down
ShaperTape on the workpiece. For best results,
place strips of ShaperTape every 3 inches (8 cm)
or closer. Strips need not be parallel.
Only apply ShaperTape on the same plane as
your cut surface. Placing ShaperTape at different
heights will impact cut accuracy and quality.
Origin should be able to glide across any Shap-
erTape you've put down. Ensure that ShaperTape
covers the area that you plan to cut, as well as
the space a few inches (or about 15 cm) in front of
your cut area so that Origin can always see some
