17. Cautions for use
− Do not aim the product at the sun or at strong light as this could damage the
photosensitive elements.
− Keep the device out of reach of children
− Do not disassemble.
− Only use NUM'AXES AA batteries to power the device.
− Make sure to observe the battery polarity.
− When not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries from the device.
18. Maintenance
Lenses
− If any impurities (dust, sand) get on the lenses, do not wipe them off but gently blow
them away or use a soft-bristle lens brush.
− Over time, fingerprints can damage the lenses. The easiest way to cleanse them is to
breathe on the lenses and gently wipe them with a lint-free lens-cleaning cloth.
− Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
possibly cause permanent damage. The use of velvet cloth or tissues is not
recommended as they may scratch the lenses surface.
− A cloth that has been used to clean the binoculars body should not be reused on the
lens surface.
− For a more thorough cleaning, you may use a special micro-fiber lens cloth.
Main body
-
Clean the body of the product with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use benzene, thinner, or
other cleaning products that contain organic agents.
Storage
− Condensation or mold may form on the lens surface in conditions of high humidity. For
that reason, the binoculars must be stored in a cool, dry place. After use on a rainy day
or at night, allow the binoculars to dry completely at room temperature before storing
them in a cool, dry place.
