12. Using the ZOOM function
The VIS1056 night vision binoculars have a zoom function that can be used while capturing a
video or photo. Press the [ZOOM] button to switch between digital zoom x1, x1.07, x1.14,
x1.22, x1.30, x1.38, x1.48, x1.58, x1.68, x1.79, x1.92, x2.04, x2.18, x2.33, x2.48, x2.65, x2.83,
and x3. Hold the [ZOOM] button down to switch zoom levels more quickly.
13. Using the infrared illuminator
The VIS1056 night vision binoculars can be used in complete darkness when the infrared
illuminator is activated. Remove the infrared filter cover from the lens (see fig. 13 on diagram
page 13), then press the [IR] button to activate the infrared illuminator and select the level
of your choosing (from 1 to 5).
14. Viewing videos and photos on your TV
Plug an A/V cable into the TV output on the side of the device. Connect the other end of the
A/V cable to the video input on your TV set. In play mode, press the ZOOM / IR buttons to
select the file that you want to display on your TV. Note: the binoculars screen will
automatically shut down when connected to a TV.
15. Transferring videos and photos to a computer
Connect the provided USB cable to the USB port on the side of the binoculars, and plug the
other end of the USB cable into the USB port on your computer. You will be able to find the
photo / video files stored on the device by looking into "My computer \ Removable disk".
Double-click on the removable disk to view, delete, move or copy any video or photo file.
