Important information on cleaning
Avoid powder-based, corrosive and abrasive cleaning agents and those
containing high concentrations of chlorine. Also avoid abrasive sponges,
steel wool and steel cleaners.

Removing the seat and lid
To allow better cleaning of the shower-
toilet, the seat and lid unit can simply
be removed by folding the seat and lid
upwards and removing both parts from
the hinge vertically.
Maintenance
Remote control Description
Hygienic flush The hygienic flush rinses the water-bearing parts of your shower-toilet
with hot water and thus cleans them. The unit detects when a hygienic
flush is required and informs you automatically. There are instructions on
the remote control to guide you through the hygienic flush programme.
Decalcification The decalcification programme removes the limescale from all water-
bearing parts. The unit detects when decalcification is required and
informs you automatically. There are instructions on the remote control
to guide you through the decalcification programme. Please use only
original GROHE Sensia decalcifying agents.
