OF THE SENSOR! After calibrating the LED will be burning continuously. Now the Pond Guard
is ready to start flashing and making sound in case of any movements within the area of
detection, subject to its adjustment. In case of any movement, the LED will immediately start
blinking quickly and there will be flashing 3 times at intervals of 2 seconds and, if switched on,
the sound of animals of prey will be heard. If there will continue to be any movement in the area
of detection, flashing will occur and the sound will be audible once again within 1 minute, as
described above.
l Besides the LED, a day/night indicator has been mounted. On dusk the LED will soon start
flashing quickly, indicating that the system does no longer react to movements. At the first
break of dawn the Pond Guard will automatically be active again.
ITEMS FOR SPECIAL ATTENTION
l In order to prevent an unnecessary reaction of the Pond Guard you should take care that there
are no large branches or moving plants in the detection area of the Pond Guard.
l During twilight and at daybreak some activity of the Pond Guard will be possible. At full
darkness the Pond Guard is fully inactive. At full daylight the Pond Guard will be active again.
l Draw peoples attention, especially children, to the installed Pond Guard.
l Prevent the plug and transformer from getting moist.
l When working in or around the pond, it is advisable to unplug the device.
l Except for the shock reaction the Pond Guard causes, it is safe for people and animals.
l As Velda can not exert any influence on the proper installation and action of the Pond Guard on
the spot, we can not be held liable for any loss of fish caused by herons, cats or different animals.
