Steps
1. Attach the Carrying Pouch to the patient.
2. Secure the Cuff to the patient.
3. To insert the Pod into the Cradle, align the Cradle's red dot (inside,
lower left corner) to the Pod's
of the Pod to secure.
4. Attach the Extension Air Hose to the Pod/Cradle unit, and the other end
of the Hose to the patient's Cuff. Do not compress or restrict air flow
through the tubing.
5. Insert the Pod/Cradle unit into the Carrying Pouch (see figure):
6. Start NBP measurements.
Alternate Patient Setup
In this setup (
using an Extension Air Hose to enable the Pod/Cradle unit to be placed at a
location within the patient's proximity, such as on a bedside table.
), the Pod/Cradle unit is connected to the patient's Cuff
symbol, then press down each end
