IMPORTANT :
The input of your LVR 6A is not protected. Reverse polarity causes the immediate destruction of the module, not covered by warranty.
When your LVR 6A delivers a permanently very high current, its temperature increases (normal occurrence). It is essential to take all steps to
ensure that your mounting provides sufficient cooling of the module in the fuselage. Any use not complying with an adequate cooling can cause
destruction of the module, not covered by warranty.
Check carefully that your module is capable of feeding the receiving system before flying. If in doubt, do a range test, turning the motor on
the total discharge of the battery, and moving regularly govern as during a flight (to simulate a normal consumption of the servos). Unable to
monitor compliance with the good installation of the module, A2Pro will in no way be held liable of a crash which resulted in damage to persons
and property, including model.
INSTALLATION AND TESTS
1 / INSTALLATION
POWER CORDS
Your LVR 6A is equipped with universal power connectors. However, it is possible to replace these connectors with other models to suit your
setup. In this case, we recommend cutting flush original connectors and to solder your own connectors in strict compliance with the polarity (red =
positive / black wire = Negative)
FITTING IT ON BOARD
Although your LVR 6A do not generate interference that may disrupt reception on board the model, we recommend you follow some common
sense rules : avoid installing LVR 6A near the antenna wire, and do not place it in immediate contact with the receiver. As already stated, your LVR
6A must be provided with adequate cooling. We recommend that you create a space around the unit. A fresh air circulation within the fuselage
must be created, particularly at the radiator (located under the label). This will remove the dissipated heat.
2 / TESTS
If your model is electric and your controller has an integrated BE, you must disable it before connecting your receiver to the LVR 6A. To do
this, simply remove the center pin of the servo connector of the controller, and insulate it by a section of heat shrink sleeve. If this precaution is
not taken, you may destroy the controller and / or LVR 6A.
It is imperative to carefully check that the consumption of the Rx system of your model (receiver + servos) does not exceed the current
maximum allowed by your LVR 6A before flying. Proceed systematically to a ground test, turning the motor on the total discharge of the battery,
and moving regularly govern as during a flight "classic" (to simulate a normal consumption of servos).
It is normal after this test (or flight) if your LVR 6A gets slightly warm. However, if the temperature is such that you can not keep it in your hand, do
not fly ! Check the consumption of each item on your Rx system to determine the cause of overconsumption.
Unable to monitor compliance with the installation of the module in a model, A2Pro will in no way be held liable of a crash which resulted in
damage to persons and property, including model.
We also draw your attention to the danger posed by a heat engine or electric operation, both for goods and for people. We recommend running
tests on a work plan completely empty of any object in the absence of other people or animals. Please also note that a motor can become very hot
during use, causing injuries. The best precaution is to systematically remove the propeller during the tests.
3 / IMPORTANT NOTES
Never leave the battery connected to the LVR 6A or the ESC over a long period. In these circumstances, the LVR 6A and the controller
continues to consume current that, over time, can fully discharge the battery. Therefore, we recommend that connect the battery just before using
the model, then disconnect the battery immediately after use.
If your controller has an integrated circuit BEC, it is necessary to disable it before connecting your receiver to the LVR 6A. To do this, simply
remove the center pin of the servo connector of the controller, and insulate it by a section of heat shrink sleeve. If this precaution is not taken, you
may destroy the controller and / or LVR 6A.
The LVR 6A has a current capacity which does not depend on the battery voltage. However, it is essential to verify that the total current
consumed by the servos under load does not exceed the current capacity indicated in the table above.
When the module delivers maximum current indicated, the nominal output voltage is satisfied only if the battery voltage is greater than the
value indicated in the table above. Below this voltage, the module will deliver a voltage slightly lower.
Do not reverse input polarity (destruction not covered by the warranty).
Always use gold connectors of good quality.
Make a systematic range test at a safe distance before each flight, with and without motors.
It is normal that the LVR 6A get slightly warm after prolonged use. Also, it is essential to keep it cooled, just like the ESC. Any breach
of this rule will result in loss of warranty.
3 / WARRANTY
Your LVR 6A has a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
The connection errors and short‐circuits of all types are not covered by the warranty.
Any deterioration of the packaging, wires or any other component of the module causes the loss of warranty.
Generally, any use outside the range of normal use will void the warranty.
4 / SECURITY RULES
The engine, battery, the wires and the controller can reach high temperatures. Do not touch these items before a complete cooling on
chance of severe injuries.
A rotating propeller can be very dangerous to objects and people. Use common sense when using your model.
Test systematically the range of your RC set with the engine off, then half gas and finally to full throttle.
