Possible cause
No power
Defective On/Off Button
Loose spindle locking nut
The Cutting Disk is not seated on the inner flange correctly
The Cutting Disk is too worn/warped from excessive use
Insufficient amount of water in the Water Sump (1)
Cutting Disk is too worn to effectively dissipate heat
Solution
Check power supply
Replace the On/Off Trigger Switch at an authorised Silverline service centre
Ensure that the blade is correctly fastened to the spindle, see 'Replacing the
cutting disk'
Check the Cutting Disk is seated on the inner flange correctly so that it runs safe
and true, see 'Replacing the cutting disk'
Replace the Cutting Disk, see 'Replacing the cutting disk'
Refill the Water Sump
Check and replace the Cutting Disk, see 'Replacing the cutting disk'
