CHARGING THE BATTERY

1. Plug the USB cable (4) into the headset.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable (4) into your computer.
3. The red indicator (1) on the headset will light up.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator (1) will turn off and the blue indicator (1) will turn on.
Important!
•
For first time use it is very important to charge the battery of the Blue WAVE headset for 24 hours. This ensures the good
sound quality of your headset.
•
For first time use it is also possible that the battery capacity is too low. It could take some time before the red indicator
lights up.

TURNING HEADSET ON / OFF
To turn the headset on:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3 seconds. The blue indicator (1) of the headset flashes. The headset is now turned on.
To turn the headset off:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3 seconds. The blue indicator (1) of the headset lights up 2 times. The headset is
now turned off.
PAIRING THE HEADSET
You are required to pair the Blue WAVE headset with your mobile phone once before using it.
1. The Blue WAVE headset must be turned off before initiating pairing. Press and hold the MF-button (2) until the blue
indicator (1) lights up constantly. The headset is now ready for pairing.
2. Initiate the pairing process on your Bluetooth
of your mobile phone.)
3. Select Blue WAVE out of the list with found devices on your mobile phone. You will be asked to enter the PIN-code to
complete pairing, enter 0000 and confirm it. When the pairing has been successful, the blue indicator (1) of the headset
will flash every 5 seconds.
Note:
1. If the Blue WAVE headset is not in pairing mode, your mobile phone won't find the headset. Please set the headset into pairing
mode before making your mobile phone search for the headset.
2. If no pairing is possible for a period of time (approx. two minutes), the headset will automatically leave pairing mode. You may
need to start all over again.
MAKING CALLS
Once the Blue WAVE headset is successfully paired with your mobile phone, you can use it to make and receive calls.
The Blue WAVE headset can be used with voice dialing if your mobile phone supports this feature. Please consult your
mobile phone's manual for more information.
1. Using voice dialing:
Press the MF-button (2), wait for a beep and say the name of the person you want to call.
2. Using the phone keys to make a call:
Enter and dial the number on the mobile phone as you normally do. Once the call has been set up, the sound will be
transmitted to your headset automatically.
3. Redial:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 2 seconds to redial the last number you called.
ANSWERING / ENDING /REJECTING CALLS
When the Blue WAVE headset is turned on and there is an incoming call, you will hear a musical tone.
- Press the MF-button (2) to answer the call.
- Press the MF-button (2) to end the call.
- Press the MF-button (2) for 2 sec. to reject the call.
When the headset is turned off: first accept the call on your mobile phone, then press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3
seconds to turn the headset on. Then press the MF-button (2) to accept the connection with the headset.
Note:
Due to the different designs of some mobile phones, an auto-disconnect may happen even when the Blue WAVE headset is turned
on. In that case, the headset won't ring when there is an incoming call. Press the MF-button (2) for 1 sec. to reconnect the headset
with your mobile phone for an incoming call.
TRANSFERRING CALLS
To transfer a call to the mobile phone and back:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 2 seconds to transfer the call to the mobile phone while talking on the headset. The
headset will be disconnected. If you want to transfer the call back to the headset, press the MF-button (2) again until you
hear a beep. Some mobile phones ask for an extra confirmation to make the connection.
ADJUST THE VOLUME
You can increase/decrease the volume by increasing/decreasing the volume of your mobile phone. The volume of your Blue
WAVE headset will be adjusted automatically. Please consult your mobile phone's manual for more information.
CONNECTING WITH A PC OR PDA
You are allowed to connect the Blue WAVE headset with a Bluetooth
and/or handsfree profiles. Please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth
