ENERGY SAVING (AUTO POWER SYSTEM-APS)
The unit will automatically enter the Standby mode after 15 minutes in the following situations:
1. There is no CD in the compartment or the playback of CD has been stopped;
2. The playback of external music player had been stopped but the audio cable is still plugged into the AUX IN jack.
The unit can be resumed to turn on by pressing the
APS is for energy saving purposes.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If you have followed the instructions and are having difficulty operating the unit, locate the PROBLEM in the left
column below. Check the corresponding POSSIBLE CAUSE and SOLUTION columns to locate and remedy the problem.
PROBLEM
No power when ON/OFF
button is on
No power when plugged in
No sound
CD PLAYER does not
work normally
No sound - If audio is going
through TV or home stereo
button once.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
AC Plug is not connected to
the electrical outlet.
The plug is not connected to
the system.
The AC outlet may not have
power.
DC plug is not secure on the back
of the unit.
Volume control is set to
minimum.
Audio cable has not been removed
from the AUX IN jack.
Disc is inserted upside down.
Disc is dirty.
Disc is scratched.
Disc is warped.
Lens is dirty.
Moisture has formed inside the
CD deck.
The Singing Machine needs to be
reset.
Source Selection on your TV or
home stereo is not set properly.
Improper Connection to stereo
system or PA.
Volume control on TV or home
stereo is set to minimum.

SOLUTION
Plug the AC cord into the wall
outlet.
Connect the plug to the system.
Check the outlet with a working
lamp or other electrical appliance.
Securely plug cord into the back of the
unit.
Turn up the volume.
Remove Audio cable from the AUX IN
jack.
Insert disc correctly.
Wipe disc in a straight line from the
center to the edge with a soft, lint free
cloth.
Use a new disc.
Use a new disc.
Wipe the lens inside the CD
compartment with a clean dry cotton
cloth or run a CD lens cleaner thru the
CD compartment.
Wait about 20 to 30 minutes to let it
dry out.
Power the system OFF and disconnect
the machine from electrical outlet for
30 seconds.
Select AUX IN as the source on your TV
or home stereo.
Follow direction in the "CONNECTIONS"
section.
Turn up the volume on the TV or
home stereo.
