• Remove the protective cover from the backside of double sided tape and stick the
unit onto the cleaned glass.
Using the alarm
• Remove the lid of the battery compartment.
• Remove the insulation tab from under the batteries. If the batteries fall out, insert
them again with the plus pole facing upwards. Close the battery compartment.
• Switch the On/Off switch to On. The device is now ready for use.
• Check the status of the batteries by pressing the test button. A red LED inside the
housing will light up.
• Adjust the sensitivity of the sensor by using the Hi/Lo switch. As a standard, the "Hi"
setting is recommended. But surrounding sounds or a sliding glass door might trigger
the alarm without any reason. In such cases reduce the sensitivity to "Lo". A breaking
of the glass will still be detected.
• Switch off the triggered alarm by switching off the device with the on/off switch. The
alarm will also stop automatically after 1 min.
Note: Please check the batteries at regular intervals by pressing the test button. The LED
should light up. If the LED light loses intensity or does not light up the batteries need to be
replaced.
