3. Insert the coffee filter (4) into the filter holder (5).
4. Add ground coffee using the measuring spoon (15) without pressing too much.
5. Insert the filter holder (5) into its position on the coffee machine, aligning the tubers properly with the grooves
of the coffee machine so that there will be no leakages from the edge of the filter holder.
6. Put the glass carafe (10) on the removable drip shelf (8) that is already well inserted into the drip tray (9).
7. Plug the coffee machine to an electric socket.
8. Turn the steam knob (2) to "
" position and the indicator will light up and coffee will flow out after about
2 minutes.
9. When coffee has arrived to the desired level, turn back the steam knob (2) to "PAUSE" position and the in-
dicator will be off. Alternatively, wait until the coffee stops flowing out by itself and turn back the steam knob (2)
to "PAUSE" position.
10. Remove the carafe holding it by the handle (11) only.
11. Remove the filter holder (5) by its handle (7) and place the frothing head (13) above the removable drip shelf
(8).
12. Place the steam knob (2) to position OFF RELEASE. Let all the steam be released completely from the tank
through the frothing head (13) and the coffee machine will cool down.
13. Open the tank cover (1) only when no steam is coming out from the frothing head (13).
Milk frothing
1. Ensure that the coffee machine is not plugged to an electric socket, and that the steam knob (2) is on OFF
RELEASE position.
2. Open the tank cover (1) by turning it anti clockwise. Use the glass carafe (10) to measure water before pouring
it into the tank. The maximum water tank capacity is equivalent to number 4 as marked on the carafe, and the
minimum level is to number 2. Water at any case must not exceed the bar that is seen inside the water tank,
about 5 cm from the edge of the tank itself. Turn the tank cover (1) clockwise to close it properly.
3. Plug the coffee machine to an electric socket.
4. Add about 150ml of milk into a 300 or 350 ML mug that has a diameter not less than 70+/-5 mm. it's recom-
mended to use whole milk at room temperature o from refrigerator instead of hot milk.
5. Turn the steam knob (2) to
position and the indicator will light up.
6. Steam will come out after about 30 seconds. Plunge the frothing head (13) into the mug of milk. Froth milk by
moving the mug slightly around the frothing head and then up and down.
7. Turn the steam knob (2) to PAUSE position to stop the frothing process.
8. Remove the mug and frothed milk is ready.
9. Turn the steam knob (2) to OFF RELEASE to turn off the coffee machine.
10. Unplug the coffee machine from the electric socket.
To prepare a cappuccino:
Simply pour the espresso coffee prepared in advance into the frothed milk to obtain a cappuccino. Add sugar if
preferred to serve.
WARNINGS:
Do not leave the coffee machine un attended during operation!
Allow the coffee machine to cool down before preparing coffee for the second time.
Turn the steam knob (2) to OFF RELEASE position to turn off the coffee machine.
Allow the coffee machine to cool down before putting it away.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Turn off the coffee machine and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning and maintenance.
2. Clean the body with a clean damp cloth, and empty the water tank.
3. Before and after using, wash all the removable parts with water.
4. Remove the filter holder by turning it clockwise and empty any coffee residue and rinse it with water or use a
mild detergent for coffee machines.
5. The glass carafe and its lid are dishwashing safe.
Warnings: Do not clean the coffee machine with alcohol or solvents. Do not immerge it in water or any
other liquids.
