2. Installing and removing the by-pass plug
- After removing the locking sleeve
(see Section 1), the by-pass plug can be
removed by turning it clockwise with the
help of a hexagonal socket wrench (SW 27).
When unscrewing the by-pass plug, the
integrated shut-off unit closes the inlet.
However, residual water may still seep
out of the protective tube.

- For installation, insert the by-pass plug into
the protective tube and screw it counter-clock
wise into the housing until it stops.
The shut-off unit opens as soon as
the by-pass plug is screwed in. Please
make sure that downstream taps are
not open during installation since
otherwise water may leak unnoticed.
