Step 5 - Power Wiring
Each pair of power cables is limited to a continuous current of 100A (4850 battery) or 150A (51100 battery). If the maximum
operating current of the inverter is higher, add power cables.
In case of installation of up to 3 batteries (51100 module) or up to 4 batteries (4850 module):
1.
Connect the positive parallel cable between the + connector of battery N and the + connector of
battery N+1. Connect the negative parallel cable between the - connector of battery N and the -
connector of battery N+1.
2.
Connect the positive power cable between the + connector of a selected battery to the positive pole of
the battery breaker. Connect the negative power cable between the - connector of a selected battery
to the negative pole of the battery breaker.
In case of installation of more than 3 batteries (51100 module) or more than 4 batteries (4850 module)
Each battery block must be connected to the main battery breaker with its own pair of power cables. The battery
breaker is then connected to the inverter. The cross-section of the cables connecting the breaker to the inverter must
be appropriately sized to handle the maximum power of the installation.
