1.3. Recommended equipment for the installation
This section does not specify the protective equipment necessary for the intervention and the intervener himself.
The qualification of the worker and the protective equipment must comply with the standards and regulations in force.
The following equipment is recommended for the installation:
Screwdriver (flat and crosshead),

Crimping tool,
o
Multimeter
o
1.4. Installation steps
Step 1 - Unpacking
1. Unpack the battery carefully. Batteries are heavy. Do not lift them by their connectors or cables. Check the
contents of the box.

Step 2 - Preparation of the installation

1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the front panel of the IMEON battery is in the "OFF" state to prevent live
operation.
Step 3 - Mechanical installation
Cabinet installation
1. Place the IMEON battery on the cabinet bracket as shown in the diagram and
push it into the cabinet to the installation position.
2. Secure the IMEON battery to the cabinet with a nut through the mounting
holes located on the battery's suspension lugs.
Step 4 - Electrical installation: Grounding and
communication
1. Screw the earth cable between each battery.
2. Connect one of the batteries to the Ground.
3. Connect the long communication cable between the
master battery "CAN / 485 IN" port to the inverter "CAN"
port.
4. Connect the short communication cables between "OUT"
port of the battery to the "IN" port of the next battery
(the last battery must not have a cable on the OUT port).
5. Set all DIP switches of each battery to the OFF position
except DIP 3 of the master battery which should be set to
the ON position.
