Using Kitchen Utensils
When using tongs or other utensils, make sure they are made of
wood or heat-resistant plastic.
Do not use metal cutlery or other items in order to avoid damage
to the surface coating in particular.
Cleaning the Base
Remove the plug from the mains socket before starting to
clean the multi-function grill.
Clean the base with a damp cloth. A little washing-up liquid
may also be used if the base is very soiled. Wipe off with a
clean cloth. Do not use the multi-function grill again until it is
fully dry.
Never immerse the base into water or any other liquids.
Protect the device from splash water and water droplets.
Make sure the heating element is dry before connecting the
device to power mains. In case of residual moisture in the
contacts, there is risk of short circuit resp. risk of electric
shock!
Cleaning the Accessory
Before cleaning the accessory, allow them to cool down to
avoid the risk of burns. Do not wait too long to wash after
cooling so that the food remains do not dry on and become
difficult to remove.
Wash the cone-shaped grill and the raclette pans by hand in
hot washing-up water. If heavily soiled, leave the parts to soak
in warm water.
Except of the base, all other parts of the multi-function grill
can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, we recommend
cleaning the parts with mild soapy water in order to protect the
non-stick coating from aggressive cleaning agents.
