Construction and function
Description of function:
The BakoLight LED GPS/2 is equipped with a GPS receiver which receives the signals of the "Global
Positioning System". The coded signal automatically synchronises the lamps. The position of each
lamp in the chain is shown by the number at the front side. To bridge possible reception disturbances,
the synchronisation is additionally stabilized by a high-precision quartz oscillator.
The lamps BakoLight LED GPS/2 and BakoLight DCF can not be combined!
Starting up:
• The BakoLight LED GPS/2 is switched on/off with the pin on the NiKo-key.
• The inside switch is activated by pushing the pin into the on/off hole.
• After the lamp has been switched on it starts blinking without synchronisati-
on.
• It lasts approx. 30-60 seconds until the GPS signals are calculated correctly,
then the blinking and the quartz oscillator are synchronised by the received
signal and re-synchronised every 15 minutes.
• Heavy thunderstorms can cause irregularities within the blinking sequence,
but they are corrected automatically.
Adjustments on the circuit board:
To carry out adjustments on the circuit board, the rear cover of the lamp head has to be removed by
releasing 3 screws.
Adjustment of the light position:
The single lights have to be marked - according to their adjustment on the circuit board - with the enclosed numbers
at the front side of the light! If the adjustment of the position is changed you must also match the numeration on the
lights!
