INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
Make the connections of the GMDACAV:
Connector 1 (10 pin):
Make the connection on the CONNECTION
GUIDE section (above).
Place the GMDACAV module
at least 1 feet (30 cm) from
the BCM.
Steering wheel and dash board.
Press the programming switch while inserting the
connector into the GMDACAV module.
The LED will turn ON to indicate the
programming mode.
Keep programming button pressed and turn
the ignition to the ON position.
When the LED turns OFF, release the
programming button.

Within a few seconds, the electric door locks
will automatically lock and unlock
If during Step 6, the door locks do not
automatically activate within 45 seconds:
The LED status indicator will flash slowly indicating:
1- If the door lock control feature has previously been
programmed:
Press the programming switch once while the LED
status indicator flashes slowly.
The LED status indicator will then flash rapidly.
Proceed to step 7.
2-If programming of the door lock control feature fails:
Return to Step 2.
The LED will flash rapidly.
Start the vehicle with the key.
The LED will turn off.
Turn the key OFF.
The interface is programmed.
