• The power plug and extension cable connectors must be waterproof and must not be placed in water. In addition, the connector should not be placed on the
ground. Ensure that the socket is at least 60mm from the ground.
BEFORE OPERATION
• Check if the pump rests on the ground of the shaft.
• Make sure that the pressure cord has been attached properly.
• Check if the electrical connection is 230 V, 50 Hz.
• Check if the socket is in good condition.
• Make sure that water and humidity can never come into contact with the mains supply.
• Avoid dry running the pump. Dry running damages the pump.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Setting the ON/OFF switching point
Automatic operation
• The ON/OFF switching point can be infinitely adjusted. For this purpose you must first loosen the screw. The switching differential can be infinitely adjusted
by extending or shortening the float cable.
• Before operating the pump, check the following:
- Make sure that the float switch operates properly by placing the pump in a vessel filled with water, raising the float switch carefully by hand and then
lowering it again. As you do so, note whether the pump switches on and off.
- Make sure that the distance between the float switch head and the latching holder is not too small. Proper operation is not guaranteed if the gap is too
small.
- When setting the float switch, make sure that it does not touch the base before the pump switches off. Warning: Risk of dry running.
- Set the switch to automatically control the height of the water level by adjusting the position of the float switch cable.
- The float switch must be clamped so that it can normally float, control, turn on and off.
- When you set up the float switch, make sure that the switch does not touch the base before the pump is opened. Warning: Risk of dry running.
MAINTENANCE
Warning: Remove the mains plug before carrying out any maintenance work.
• Clean the pump with clear water after every use.
• In case of stationary installation, the function of the float switch should be checked every 3 months.
• All fibrous particles which may have built-up inside the pump housing should be removed with a water jet.
• Every 3 months the shaft ground should be cleaned from mud.
• Remove deposits on the float switch with clear water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem

Float switch cannot sink down.
1. Inlet sieve is clogged.
Insufficient flow
2. Reduced pumping capacity due to dirty and abrasive water.
1. Thermal cutout stops the pumps due to dirty water.
Pump switches off after
short operating period
2. Water is too hot. Thermal cutout stops the pump.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
In order to avoid damages on transportation, the tool has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging as well as the unit and accessories are made of
recyclable materials and can be disposed accordingly. The tool's plastics components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to remove
environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.
Only for EU countries
Do not dispose of electric equipment together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance with
national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible
recycling facility.
