Use a protective cover to protect the parasol from wind and weather.
Ensure that the parasol is closed in the event of wind. The parasol can become irreparably
damaged if the wind turns it inside out like an umbrella. Furthermore, an open parasol poses
a major hazard since the panel area catches the wind like a sail and could tip over the parasol.
RISK OF ACCIDENT! A tumbling parasol can pose a hazard and result in personal injury and
material damage.
A suitable parasol stand or concrete slabs are required for safe use.
DANGER OF INJURY! Discontinue use of the defective parasol.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLIANCES RUNNING
ON BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACKS
Do not use damaged or modified rechargeable battery packs/batteries or appliances.
Defective or modified batteries can be unpredictable and may cause fire, explosion and
injury.
Do not expose a battery or appliance to fire or excessive temperatures. Fire and high
temperatures exceeding 130°C (266°F) can result in an explosion.
Do not attempt to disassemble, open or service batteries. Only replace the batteries with
ones specified for this product.
The batteries must not be crushed, punctured, modified or exposed to water, and must not
be disposed of outside or with household waste!
In the event of battery leakage, remove the batteries from the product immediately to avoid
damage.
If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and areas with mucous membranes.
Should there be such contact, rinse the affected area with water and seek medical attention
immediately.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Seek medical attention immediately in the event
of a swallowed battery!
INTENDED USE
This parasol is to be used for protection from the sun and is not intended to protect against rain
or wind. You must close the parasol in case of rain or wind.
Use the product only for the purpose it is intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage caused by improper use. Any modification to the product may negatively impact safety,
cause hazards and invalidate the warranty.
Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.
UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the box and remove the product. After unpacking, please check the product for damage
and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent complaints cannot be accepted.
SETUP
Seek a suitable location. The parasol must be on firm ground. Otherwise, it could fall over and
cause damage. We discourage placing the parasol on a meadow. In the worst-case scenario,
heavy rain could soften the ground and the parasol could sink and fall over.
Open and close your parasol using the opening-and-closing mechanism on the parasol.
